ANT-MAN, MY SPIRIT ANIMAL

I watched Ant-Man.

Scott Lang did the right thing, but in doing so, he earned a three-year sentence. He has a master’s degree, but no one will give him a chance.

I did the right thing caring for my mom, and in doing so, I earned three-plus years of brutal, social isolation. I also have a master’s degree, but no one will give me a chance either.

So yeah, I sympathize with Ant-Man.

But I wonder if there is a happy ending for me?
